Friday Night's Stray Cat Strut!

Thanks for starting the thread.

Well, I've been listening to a lot of wonderful stuff since my CD player died and I wanted to try and share some of it. But most posts are interesting. I rarely not discover someone new (to me) in those types of threads. And that is the main point.

Cheers!

I love the hot dog song. :)

I think this is pretty weird.

Or this... (probably nsfw)

Turbo, defining weird is about as hellish as defining art. I don't know if those selections of yours are weird to anyone else but they fit my definition

I don't know how weird #2 is because I'm so weird myself but I love it. Very funny.

I like the first one because of the drummer. It's like...jazz drumming mixed with rock and I dunno, a skipping CD?

The song is great......the video is ****ed up....=)

Turbo mentioned jazz. Back in the days when I was an audiophile and had my hearing, this is the album I'd take along for comparing speaker systems even though I was into the heavy stuff. You'll not easily find a more natural sound.

Due to a lot of music and too much drinking, I'm getting up late today...

Still an audiophile (although more of a music lover) and I always take classical music to test drive speakers because of the larger range of instruments. Jazz is good too so long as it is acoustic. I never understand people who take electric or electronic music for that job. How can you test speakers with distorted sounds?

Having your hearing is definitely a plus to music listening. I gave up engineering after about a year because I knew it would do serious damage :( It was sure fun but too darn loud.
