It doesn't look so in the pic, but does it have an aperture ring for use on old Nikon cameras such as an FA?

This lens is an AF-D lens. There is no rabbit ears if thats what you mean. There is an Aperture ring for controling your f. this particular lens is f.3.5-5.6
Lens can be used in full manual.
