Mechanics: Exemplary. Silky smooth focus and zoom action. Crisp, snappy auto-iris action. Opens and closes with alacrity.
Lens barrel cosmetics: EXCELLENT, 9.5 of 10.
Optics: No front/rear element scratches, no internal fungus, no haze. There is light-to-moderate internal dust which won't affect your image quality materially.

This lens is in good condition with some normal signs of use. Also, the front filter ring has a dent in it, but this does not affect the lens in any way other than cosmetic. the lens cap fits nicely although a filter will not unless you push the dent out.
