When I'm in aperture priority mode, I don't see the shutter speed value in the
in the LCD monitor. It only shows the IOS setting and the aperture setting, no shutter speed or the boxed letter "A" to indicate I'm in AP. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't own an X-T30 but my early X-100T and X-T1s both offer in their Set-up menus a Screen Set-up toggle that allows customization of what you see--all or nothing and everything in-between. Have a look there.

Figured it out. For those x-t30 owners that might have the same problem, remove the existing memory card, and replace with it with a different card. That's all it took to solve my problem.
