I know most of the stuff i post is B&W, but at my last trip to Multnomah Falls i figured i would fire off 2 color rolls and see what i got. There is some sharpness issues i think with the pics, the only thing i can come up with is my standard Canon zoom is crap. everything else was done right as far as i know. Anyway, please tell me what you think. i would love to know! These are all a minor Fall that s in the Multnomah Falls park area, i just found it at the side of the road and pulled over. I think these little ones are really beautiful and hardly ever photographed, so here they are.
#3 is my favorite, but all of them are very nice. Perhaps a little softness is acceptable, particularly in the first three. Looks like a great area to photograph. I hope you shot some pics of stuff other than the waterfalls.
Yeah 3 is my favorite as well, i like the mist/fog on the top and bottom of the pics. actually though 2 is my least favorite LOL, the colors are real though. I guess i am just partial to the farther back views.
Ok I have another newbie question here. How are you acheiving that affect with the water? is it a slow shutter? or a photoshop effect? Could some one fill me in please?
It was the coloring contrast that caught my attention on the second picture. I do like the depth of #3 but I really like contasting colors. Also I think it makes me feel like I am at home again.
