Well managed to find a bit of fine weather for a outing to Bempton cliffs in Yorkshire, here are a few Gannets in flight.

Very nice.

Sadly, we had a local fisherman bring in an injured Gannet to the aquarium here in Virginia Beach where I volunteer. He'll never fly, and he's missing one eye. But he's a one of a kind bird for us, and we're more than happy to care for this majestic animal.

Thanks Buddy, its a shame about the rescued bird, but at least he's being cared for.
