Hey everyone!
Seeing as I'm new here, I found this category and thought I'd get a start on! I'm Heather, 19, from Newfoundland, Canada, and I am an aspiring photographer

My plans arn't to become a full time photographer (I am going to be involved with the environment...my program of study in university is Environmental Studies) however, I absolutely love photography, and I do plan on making it a big hobbie of mine.

I recently took photos at the school I attended a year ago for this year's senior grad class/the prom ceremony. It was my first time being asked "professionaly" to take photos for an event, so I was real excited! They turned out quite well.

I currently use a Nikon Coolpix L15 8.0mp, but my "prospective camera", as I like to call it (lol), is the NIkon D40

Anyway, just thought I'd make a little intro!! Hope to get to know a few of you!
