SLR
Canon EF
Canon AE-1
Minolta XG-1

dP-shooter
Kodak C743

P-shooter
Yashica T3D

Box
Ansco, Buster Brown
Ziess - Ikon, Box Tengor-54/2

Rangefinder
Kodak Signet 40

That is all it can handle, When I get my Leica and Pentax this weekend I won't have any room for them :(

---------------------------------------------------------

In other words, can yall increase the charachter limit in the "My Cameras" section of the user Profile?

Why not shorten, or remove, the descriptions?

How about something like

P2
2.8GX
D3
4FW
M6
M7
M7II
45N-1
RW45E
67
W67
T90
110B

Or you could remove duplicate characters and make it even shorter:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
II
B D E G M N P R T W X

That's clear enough, isn't it?

Best,
Helen

I could drop the spaces but eventually that won't be enough...Actually, have you seen my complete list?

Truth be told, the entire point of this thread was aimed more toward saying that there is a place in the profile for gear lists, If I get the extra charachters, it's a bonus.

I haven't seen your entire ger list. Please post a link, I'd be interested to read it.

I realised what the point of the thread was, and I agree that having a gear list in one's profile could be useful. I did wonder why one would want to show one's entire list - I wouldn't. Then I just started toying with the idea of brevity vs comprehension and understandability.

Best wishes,
Helen

It ain't much but Almost Everything I have from SLR to external Light meter...I think. I know I left out a few inherited p-shooters that I'll never use, but I think there is some stuff missing as well.

I'm impressed.

I cheated slightly on the 4FW - this list was made more in playfulness than accuracy. I was thinking of the Rolleiflex 4.0FW - the new version of the Wide.

Well done.
Helen
