Hey guys, my name is Andrew and I'm joining this community in order to gain some insight on photography. I'm currently taking an Intro to Photography class at my university to make myself a well-rounded artist, but recently found out I am absolutely awful at it. I got a Canon 10-D Digital SLR with a 50mm lens. I feel so fancy saying that. I'm sure that camera is out of date, but I like it so far. All of my pictures are in RAW format and I'm a little uncertain on how to convert them to a forum friendly format. One of them is a JPEG and I uploaded it. Since I'm a drawer/painter, I thought I would try some light paintings. It took me a good hour to figure it out!
