The red of the geraniums is very intense! It really jumps out at me!
What is it you did about that photo in Photoshop?
I am not sure about the hand in the second... I find it rather distracting.

In photoshop I used Distort/spherize under Filter. It was very neat That's not my hand, it's my Godmothers. It's all I can do to use both hands to take a picture right now LOL
