I recently found a photographer by the name of Jaret Ferratusco. He did some photography for a band named Unwed Sailor. I found his website and was looking at some of his photographs. I really like them and was wondering how do you get the effects on some of these photos. They look like film, but I could be wrong. I love the "raw" feel of these. Here are some examples:

Dont knwo the guy or his equipment/techniques but this looks like grainy film, or its heavy Photoshop processing. You can find actions that will give you that acid feel in the colors and the grain in the photo.

never hurts just to contact the guy and ask for tips.

Correct, anything that isn't your work should in most cases be put in as links to avoid any confusion.

Im sure someone can tell you of a way to mimic this look in PS. Looks like it wouldnt be too hard.

cross processing? Maybe he was using a holga

A lot of them look very noctilux...but picking out a lens, even one so distinct, is a very difficult thing to do. My guess is that it's either very good PP, ND filtering, or polaroid film.
