GETTY IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHERS - WHAT RIGHTS DO THEY HAVE?

Hi All, Yeah, I'm back with more annoying questions...

I've heard that photographers for Getty retain their copyright... correct?

If a customer wants to buy an image, is the photographer informed BEFORE the sale takes place?

If so, does the photographer retain the right to refuse to allow a particular sale to take place, if they so desire?

If someone infringes copyright, is the photographer involved informed by Getty BEFORE legal action is taken?

Does the photographer have the right to overide any legal action that has been taken?

Why not put these questions directly to Getty? Since AFAIK, no one here works for them, you're not likely to get accurate answers.
