Girl with headphones

My stepdaughter wearing her new "paid-for-by-herself" headphones. These were bought because our cats chewed apart her old pair of ear buds. We must've told her over 100 times to take care of her things, and she didn't listen.

She's holding the destroyed pair in her hands, which you can't see, but you can see the deliberation in her face as she examines the damage.

I debated bumping up the gamma on this, but on the other hand, I like the dark, moody feeling. Thoughts?

I sot of like it. Actually, such pictures that tell a story are more personal to the photographer than to anyone else. I have TONS of such pics of my kid. I'll have a story for each one. The way the rubberband is almost coming off her hair, her half-cleaned face after a self-toothbrushing attempt, etc.
