The illumination of the glass is beautiful. I'm not sure about the large black streak. It has too much weight I think.

very nice i like # 2 best, and imo i think the black streak is fine as is.

I also think the black streak is well balanced.
I like the 2nd one best.. and IMO the 1st one would be better with the glass base.
