Going through a photo drought

I haven't shot for a while. I've been torn between whether I should shoot medium format film and scan the image with my Nikon 8000ED or just use my digital. The film scan seems to yield much greater detail. The below photo was shot in Golden gate Park with my old digital, and then playing with in photo shop. I printed this on canvas and coated it with 5 layers of sealer for a pretty cool look.

Excellent scenery; could have clicked when the man has not proceeded that much, i feel
