Golden Gate @ Sunset.

I was showing my vacation pics to my friends and was surprised that some of the pictures I realy liked, they merely glossed over, while some which I thought werent all that great they liked especially. Like this one. In my mind the subject is far too Cliché (there must be thousands of pictures out there of the golden gate @ sunset). Nevertheless after showing my friends all my 300 vacation pics it seems this one is thier favorite... I just dont get it... composition asside, do you suppose the general public is drawn to the familiar rather than the unique?

I think its togs who look at their and others work differently (technicalities etc etc) most normal folk just see a pretty picture. H
