what do you think of this sunrise? too much foreground? or about right?

the colors are lovely
there's no doubt about that
but the foreground could've started just under the swamp
in my opinion that makes the pic heavy for the eyes when looking at the center.
when looking to the top of the pic it softens again

I really like this Fullpower..it doesn't seem like to much foreground to me, but I personally like the amount of black that there is in it, b/c it makes you want to look at the colors in the sky which are excellent! There is one thing that distracts me though, the horizon line is fine, looks pretty well straight, but just under that there is a water line or something like that that tilts, starts higher is the left and down to the right...that's being really picky, but that line, and the lines the clouds make are fighting for my attention. All in all I like this picture a lot though!

i like the fact that there is alot in the foreground. the way the mountains are rougly centre makes the photo look well composed!! i really like it!!

I think though foreground looks find it emphasises the colors. If you crop it I would only do so a small amount. The only thing that would make me change the amount of foreground would be with the wrong frame mat combo it could make the print look bottom heavy.
