I recently bought the iOptron Star Guider Pro and found that it didn't come with any sort of carry case. The main body was in a small soft-sided case but the other parts were just in the box in styrofoam. So, I needed some convenient way to carry the stuff around and keep it somewhat protected.

I found a really nice, inexpensive foam-filled hard case at Harbor Freight. This Apache 3800 is a perfect solution for storing and transporting my new Star Guider Pro. I'm sure these cases are not as good as the much more expensive Pelican cases, but for the money they are pretty darn good.

If I had it to do over I'd have had the counter weight the other way around so that when I carry the case, the large flat bottom of the weight would be pushing against the foam instead of the thin part.
