This sequence of shots were taken in a town garden. The powerful graphium, the Common bluebottle was feeding on some white flowers.
Within a split second this perfectly camoflage Crab spider grab it.
The powerful serum of this small killer rendered the strong flyer hapless within seconds.
As this is the way nature works, I did not interfere with the whole process.
All taken with Canon 300D with 75-300mm IS + 25mm extension tube. 1st pix at 1/200, f11, 2nd at 1/200, f16, and 3rd at 1/200, f18. All at ISO 200 with omnibounced fill flash from Sigma 500 Super DG at -2/3 FEC.
Hope you enjoy this sequence.
