Got my flash!!!

YAY! Just had to come on here and let someone know that I finally recieved my "pocket change" flash! I haven't had much time to putz with it yet but from what I can tell it is amazing I was ever able to use my other flashes at all! ETTL is MUCH easier than full manual I must say. And that is assuming the flash even fired at all!

Can't wait to post some pics. My best friends wife just had her baby on Sunday and they should be home today. Hopefully I can stop over there tomorrow for some "testing"

Shot this at arms length in my hallway using my EF 50mm f/1.8 @ f/2.5.

Not having a particularly good skin day (and I need to shave!) I'm starting to understand what portrait photog's are always saying about certain lenses being almost too sharp

Awesome :thumbsup: There are times I feel my 50mm is almost too sharp, so I understand what you mean
