Got my "free" lens :)

So I met up with him and got the lens. Its 75-300mm IS lens. I can't seem to see it on canon's website but it may have been replaced with the 70-300mm?

Looking at that price, and him getting it for $200 back in 2008 is a very good deal IMO

I believe that is the first Canon IS lens. It was great at that time. But in digital camera world, it is just so-so. Major improvement in the new one that replace it.

I see...still he got a good deal. He said to practice w/ it all I want until I'm ready to get more expensive lenses so I am greatful for that
