Got The Time?

I discovered how macro mode works on my digi cam, so I decided to have a little test photo shoot with my watch. Here's one of my better photos. If you'll excuse me about not being entirely honost about this one, I used Photoshop to turn the reflections of my skin to monochrome so it blends in better.

I did not use flash - it is natural light (photographed on windowsill)

Good idea, too, I mean: good motif you decided to use in order to try out your macro function. I like the light.

Yeap. I thought so too. I'm still playing with macro mode, I want to be able to get extreme closeups with it (Think topic with salt shaker) But I just don't know how :/

Good use of lighting on this one. The picture is rather large which makes it kind of hard to get a sense of the composition as a whole. It's been recommended on this site that pictures should be no wider than 700-800 pixels...or something close to that.

The one possible change that stands out to me is that window at the top right. You could try cropping it out or retaking the picture without it. Other than that it's a great picture you have here.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks. Next time PS is open i'll edit out the window and reduce its size
