I took this image after a heavy rain storm overlooking the bay.

Bynx I am awaiting to hear from you

I'd try backing off the Strength and maybe also a little of the Luminosity/Micro contrast. You don't want it to look too fake. Also, under "Smoothing" check the Light Mode box and adjust via the options that appear. Max usually works best, but try each one.

It looks like it had some trouble with the water. Was this from one image or did you take 3 separate? You may need to adjust the import settings so it detects moving objects like water.

The minute you check on smoothing options light mode enabled and go below mid that's when the halo's start. So now I don't use light enable mode I just use the smoothing slider 3 images 2Ev.

Here some of the other HDR images I have done so you can see.

I like your results Provo. As mentioned, its too bad about the water. But maybe we could see the files your used. From what I see here I think my favorite is your sunset. As for the water in your first shot perhaps you could pick up some details by cloning from the middle shot the waves with the cloning tool set to darken and about 80%. That should fill in that blank area.
