The weather was beautiful today.. a little windy but very nice. Today I went to a spot I normally go to on my lunch breaks at work as I've spotted a Great Blue Heron there a couple of times, sure enough he was there today as well but got away before I could take any decent pics...he is VERY nervous. I'll be going back tomorrow to see if he's there.
Here's the one that got away....I'm determined to get a good one of him
I also witnessed 2 red tail hawks, a Turkey vulture and a Northern Harrier...all too far to get any pics, but still a thrill to see them.
Nevertheless I caught a few shots of the typical smaller birds there.
