Green snake (shedding)

So I think this is a whip snake (saw it in Kurt's snake thread), but I'm not sure on the exact species. I had to meet someone at our local zoo (very small) so took along my new 100/2.8 Macro for some test shots. The lighting was terrible, and my battery went dead after about 15 shots , but I thought these 2 came out well.
