Hi there.
Just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I'm very interested in digital photography and want to learn more. I currently own a Nikon D70 w/ the kit lens and a Tamron AF Aspherical XR Di (IF) 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3.

I'm looking to upgrade to a D60, D80 or D90 and I want to know if my Tamron lens would be compatible with either one or both. Help....

Yup. All modern Nikon lenses fit on all modern Nikon bodies, even the full frame ones. Welcome to the forums. The only compatibility issue that Nikon shooters might come across is if you've got the D40 and you don't have an AF-S lens (The D40 doesn't have a focusing motor in the body and requires the lens to have it built in instead)
