Greetings, East North Carolina: (Pics and suggestions please)

Hi, forum.

I've been dabbling with DSLR's for a couple years now and am looking for inspiration as well as criticism to improve my skill.
This site came up in a search while I was looking for photography forums.

I don't have anything special as far as gear, but here is a what I'm working with:

Bodies:
Nikon D200
Nikon D3000

Glass:
Nikon 18-55mm (1:3.5 - 5.6G)
Tokina silent drive 12-24mm wide angle (F4-22)
Tamron 70-300mm (F4-5.6)

The tamron and nikon lenses have CPL's from Rocketfish, while the tokina is going bare glass at the moment.

Here are a couple sample photos with each.
Please suggest subjects to shoot, or interesting ideas.
Lately, I've been wanting to shoot high speed shuttle with more detail... but this might just take lighting practice and setup. Post your action shots to discuss if you want!

I tend to shoot RAW, and not touch anything else in PS.
The most I'll edit is saturation and exposure mostly:

Nikon 18-55mm

Tokina 12-25mm

Tamron 70-300mm

I was thinking about getting this lens. Tried it out a couple times; real nice. The picture of the house with the stars in the bg; really nice. I would have used a more suttle flash though for future reference imho.

The lighting was from my truck's head lights as it was just about pitch black out. (30sec exposure.)

I cranked up the exposure in post to get the bright white of the house.
I can edit another one to be a tad warmer and see what you think.

Yeh that's more pleasing to my eyes imho.
