I'm certainly no pro, but I'm not new to photography either.
Started with a Minolta X-700 and learned the basics, moved up to a Canon Rebel 2000 and converted to digital in around 2001. My first digital was a Sony DSC Cybershot, I forget the # but it was the top-of-the-line 5MP one that was $1000. I can't believe that was so expensive! (It was a decent camera though)
Various point-and-shoots here and there, my current one is my trusty Canon SD-400, 5MP, takes video, perfect for keeping on my belt and never missing an opportunity.
And my baby- a Canon 40D with 1 awesome lens and 1 decent lens.
Great to be here, I hope to learn a lot.
