Hi there. Well I just logged into this site last night for the first time and haven't really had a whole lot of time to read everything, but what I have read looks really good and informative.
I am less than a novice photographer, but have always wanted to learn more about taking great pics and thanks to my loving wife I was given (allowed to purchase) an early Christmas present, my very first "nice" camera. In true OCD fashion I bought a Nikon D80 last night after spending many months trying to decide which one to get and trying to get my wife to sign off on the idea of dropping a couple grand on a camera for something that I am just now learning how to do. Anyways, I am now the proud owner of a D80 and am looking forward to starting to take pics. That is, as soon as I figure out how to turn this thing on
