Hello all,
Unsurprisingly my name is Melanie. I have joined to TPF to pick your brains and learn as much as I can about SLR cameras and in particular 80-200mm type ones.
I am attempting a career change and have been told I will need experience with this type of camera. I intend to start a course on basic photography and will need to find a suitable camera and kit but haven't the faintest idea what to buy! Or indeed how much is sensible to spend on it and I don't want to be stitched up like a kipper
I hope I can in turn create a little sense of fun and humour as I have very little else to offer
