Thank you again everyone. I always smooth skin in portraits. Less in some, more in others, but always something to take the edge off. Nobody's skin is perfect, and the camera records far more detail than anyone wants to show the world

Thanks again everyone. I didn't see the small line on her chin, but upon close inspection of the full res image, I noticed it was a small bit of banding from the vignette.

I think it has quite enough texture already with that background image.

I always sharpen my web images after resizing. It might appear overly sharp if you are viewing on an LCD monitor, but to me it looks ok on my crt.

This is a case where over-photoshopping looks fantastic. I either like it completely over done (intentional) or just slightly done so you can't tell that you edited it.

The middle of the road stuff is harder to pull off.

This is perfect! We know the effects are intentional and it WORKS!

I just wish I knew how you got her so sharpened? Amazing! Will you tell your secrets?
