I think so... maybe try adding a bit of its' nose but I like the exposure... taking pictures of black cats is extremely difficult and you did pretty well here!

I'm not worried so much about the crop (although I would have kept a bit to the camera-left of the nose), but the photo is WAY over-exposed.

The cat looks very dusty It's a shame your light was so strong that you lost all the detail in the eye. And yeah, I think the crop is a bit too tight. I also dont like how the eye is right in the middle of the photo (vertically speaking). Perhaps leaving the width of the photo as is and simply shifting the whole thing to the right would improve it a bit since you'd see all of his nose and less of whiskers.
