Hammered in Phoenix!

Wow! Last night we had two powerful waves of T-storms like I've never seen before in Phoenix, Arizona. Gusts of wind of around 100mph and an average of 60mph, felt like we were in the middle of some friggin' hurricane. I had to push water away from the house so it doesn't get in, in the middle of falling hale and lightning strikes. Yikes!...:x And when I went to the shop to see if it's alright (it was), I've seen the streets flooded wall to wall, branches of trees floating away. Ouch!

Anyone else in Phoenix had any problems?

We had sheet lightning all evening (no bolts for good pix ). My sister-in-law came to town to visit yesterday from Philly and got this spectacular show (which looked like strobe-lights to the south and east). Drive to work today was littered with downed branches.

I wish I had better picture taking ops --- MissMia got some good ones!

Yeah, I wish I had time for pics, I was mopping the water in the middle of the storm, while being pelted with hale. Not the right time to take pics...

I actually got called in to work at 1am and was here until about 2:30
