Has anyone else dealt with entitled people when it comes to free photos?

To quote the eccentric and often misunderstood philosopher known as The Joker, "If you are good at something, never do it for free."

I do some charitable work but even then my motives are to network or get some gigs later on. I shot some portraits for a woman who is a movie actress. She is gorgeous but has reached that age where opportunities are starting to be limited. While getting her into my portfolio is a good feather in my cap, the fact that her photos of her by me are out there has gotten my foot in the door for some higher end clients. Those higher end clients lead to more higher end clients.
