Having some iMac calibration trouble…help?

Hi All,
I'm new here and am looking for some help with my calibration software. I've been using Huey Pantone Pro for years but lately found I couldn't get my red tones accurate. I've just purchased and re-calibrated with the Datacolor Spyder5Pro and my screen looks totally different. Previously my monitor (on many computers) has displayed a cooler tone with the Pantone….with the new Spyder it's quite warm and recommends a dimmer screen brightness. I'm concerned that I now don't know how to recognize a properly calibrated monitor when the two programs are giving me such drastic calibration results.

All I can say is my past experiences with Huey tell me you're better off with the Spyder.

Thanks so much joe! I'll take your advice. The spyder does seem to be giving me better results so I'm glad to hear that you question the Heuy as well.
