Hello everyone. I'm happy to have found this forum. I love photography and have been an active amateur since college. My first SLR was a Canon AT-1 I got for class at a pawn shop. I used that camera until 2006 when I got a DSLR, Canon, which I still use today.

I'm in a local camera club where I live but they only meet 2 times a month and not during the summer. I wanted to spend more time chatting with others about the medium, so i'm excited to be here.

Mostly I shoot landscapes, living in West Virginia there are plenty of scenic areas. Right now waterfalls are my big interest. The club were I belong locally had some guest speakers in February on waterfalls and I've been hooked since. My other current fav subject is my gig with a local roller derby team. Sometimes I do animals, my dog is a big subject too.
