TPF Noob!
I'm an art student from Rhode Island, and I absolutely love photography! I'm relatively new to it, having seriously practiced for the past eight months or so. I'm fortunate to live in a very photogenic part of the world, and I'm passionate about architecture, so my photography tends toward landscapes/cityscapes and architectural shots, though I like to play with a wide variety of subjects as well.
I've got a lot to learn, but several people have told me that I have a natural eye for it. This seems like a friendly and knowledgeable community, so I look forward to getting involved here, getting feedback on my photos, improving my skills, and just having fun!:mrgreen:
For the record, I shoot with a Kodak Z740 I received as a Christmas gift. Now that I'm getting the hang of its bells and whistles, I'm finding it to be a nice, fun camera, and a definite step up from the basic P&S digital I was using before.
