My name is Serena, but most people call me Renie. I'm an army wife married to my soldier (Rob) for almost 6 years now. We're the proud parents of 2 German shepherds, as well as 2 hedgehogs, who are subjected relentlessly to my little "photo sessions" and they hate it. 
Taking pictures has always been a hobby of mine. A hobby, and nothing more. Right now I work at the reception battalion for the incoming basic training soldiers. My job title is photographer, but outside of my job, I do not consider myself one. I chase the Privates around several training areas and document it. Later on, they receive a yearbook, a photo slide show, and a video DvD.
For my birthday I was given a Nikon D5100. I can't wait to play with it and start taking some great pictures! I also look forward to tons of advice from you guys!
