Hello--another from the Houston area

Hi All. I've been taking pictures for quite a while--started when I was about 12 and got a Pentax K-1000 when I was 16. I enjoyed it, but photography really took on a life of its own for me when I became the "unofficial" photographer for our son's baseball team. One thing lead to another and my wife and I got into the DSLR's with a Nikon D50 a couple of years ago. I've had a blast taking pictures of the kids on the ballfield.

Now, after much thought, I am the proud owner of a Nikon D300 and I can't wait for baseball season to come around again!

You'll notice my signature... I elected to go with the D300 body only and skipped the grip--fewer nights on the couch that way.
