I finally decided to purchase my first DSLR, a Canon 60D w/ EF-S 18-135 lens. I'm thrilled so far.

I have been a point and shoot junky for a while with my Sony Cyber-Shot. Then I started to long for the days of SLRs and *boom* here I am. I worked in retail camera sales 20 years ago when film was groovy and digital was unheard of. I used to shoot lots of B&W on a Minolta SRT-101 and 102 back in the day.

I'm going gangbusters and having a blast taking pictures.

I look forward to chatting, sharing, and learning.

It's a fantastic camera for the money. And I have family that have lenses and other accessories that make my life a bit easier.
