Hi everyone a little about myself. I use to be into photography before digital was even a thought. I had a darkroom where I processed color film and enlarged photos. So yes im old, I have been shooting digital for about 4yrs with a olympus 4000 series camera.

I have been fighting lung cancer for the last two years and had to retire so now was a good time for me to get back into photography. I pulled the trigger on a nikon D300 w/50mm 1.8 and 70-300mm vr lens. It might be a little over kill but i have the time to learn the camera with all your help.
