aslo question where I can post here regarding buying new camera looking for suggestions and help as to what system to pick

If you have a particular brand name in mind, post your question in that camera forum (such as Nikon or Canon). If you don't have anything in mind, try posting something in the Beginner's Forum, and be sure to state your budget range - that can mean a lot.
