Hello everyone, I just purchased my first camera

I have just purchased a Minolta X-700 for my wife and a Minolta XE-7 for myself. My dad's first camera was a Minolta XE-7 that he bought in 1975. That camera has been through everything and still works like a charm. The main reason I purchased these cameras is because they are manual and my wife and I want to learn how to do photography from scratch. Anyway, I think this forum is awsome and I am sure I will be posting a million questions so I look forward to talking to ya'll.
