I just signed on to The Photo Forum a couple days ago. I have three sites for my photos. Open Sky Gallery, VFXY Photos, and I'm just getting underway at ImageKind. Acutally, I don't have many images posted at any one of the three places yet, but I'm working on it.

I'm 65 years old and live in Central Illinois with my wife Jean.

One thing, I'm not sure this is the place for it. The other day, in Outdoor Photographer magazine, I saw some images where the area close to the lense was in focus, the area mid way into the shot was captured with a high speed setting, actually, it is moving water caught to appear frozen in space, the water almost appears like a cloud...then, the distant part of the photo is in focus. How did he do that? Is that what is called stitching or is it photography for me to dream about?

Sounds like possibly the shot was an HDR pic. Do a search on HDR on the forum and you'll get lots of hits.
