Hi.
I'm a high school student who is currently living in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
My parent is a diplomat so I get to move around a fair amount of time.
I have just recently got into photography while I was living in Rome, Italy and taking a B&W film photography class.
I was instantly fascinated by film photography. I used to take a fair amount of pictures for my family while going on trips with a standard point and shoot digital camera, but never found it as exciting as film.
I started to think more about how I should take a photo, quickly thinking about the aperture, speed, the highly finite number of film i have left, and etc...
I'm hoping to find an affordable photography store here in Santo Domingo. I'm already out of film and need to look for a darkroom I can use. Perhaps I should switch to digital photography since I'm sure it will be way cheaper in the long term, not forgetting the fact I have no income:er:, but that kinda beats the whole reason I got into photography.
Hope to learn a lot about photography here.
