Hello from a newbie

I just registered, so I thought I should introduce myself...

My name is Jen and I am the newest of the newbies when it comes to photography. I have a small automatic-everything Kodak C340 camera right now. Unless Santa is VERY generous this year, I'm planning to upgrade my camera (either the Panasonic FZ7 or Nikon D40) in the spring. In the meantime, I'm reading photography books and trying to improve my composition and lighting skills. I will post a couple of pictures once I figure out how to resize them for the web.

I look forward to learning from all you super-talented photographers!

Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are some really good photographers on here... most of them will not say so but they are good. I have learned a lot about all the critique that I have gotten...
