Hello from a sailboat

Hello,

About 6 years ago I bought a sailboat in Euopre and my wife and I have been sailing around since then. Currently we are in New Zealand.

Last summer, after years of seeing so many wonderful places and people I decided to learn to take pictures. I bought a D7000 and have read a bunch of books. I love taking pictures of people and their cultures. Recently I took pictures for 2 months in remote villages on Aneityum and Tanna Islands in Vanuatu and had so much fun (I put a few into my member gallery). And I like a lot of the pictures I took, but I really want to improve my ability to capture people in their world.

I have a lot to learn (and plan to learn a lot from this site!)

In a couple more years, my sister and her husband will be keeping you company, kind of, on the deep blue. He is also a pretty decent photog but I can't get him to join this place, he prefers to just send me his photos directly...
