Hello from Canada!

Hello everyone. My name is Mark. I live on the east coast of Canada.

I am not a beginer, but have gotten away from photography in the last 5-10 years. I recently bought myself a dSLR and am planning to get back into photography.

I like to take shots of all kinds, but I would say my focus at the moment is on nature/portrait photography.

I have a basic knowledge of photography and a decent eye for it... I just need a bit more practice so I can put it together with the technology and get the output I want.

I was generally able to get the shot I wanted on film... But I was too impatient to wait for constantly changing film, depending on what I was shooting or what kind of results I wanted, the processing and what not... Then if the results were not what I wanted, I had to go back and re-shoot.... So I decided to go digital.
