Hello everyone!

My name is Devon. I live in Ottawa, Canada.

I am a newbie-ish photographer... I've never really had any professional training but I intend to take photography class in grade 11. I joined this forum because I'm hoping to get lots of tips and help with my photos. I would like to learn how to take more creative photos mostly.

I love to photograph nature the most, my favourite styles of photography are macros and landscape. I take macro photos more than anything else though.

The camera I use is a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. I got it from my dad's friend for a very good price of $50, including everything it came with and a few extra things!

So that is it for my intro!

Hi Devon, nice to see another Canadian.

Once you starting taking a photography class, things will change in your view about photographic equipment.
Creativity is in your head ... understand your cameras limitations and work with it.
