Hello from Colorado

Just wanted to say "hi". I'm Ryan and live in one of the burbs of Denver. I purchased a Nikon D80 a few years back with the hopes of learning to use it by the time I had a kid. Well my son is 2 and I'm still learning. Haha. Anyway, I am fairly comfortable but am still learning so thought I jump on here to ask questions when they come up. My first one has to do with the solar eclipse here on Sunday and taking a sunset shot (if the weather holds out), but that's another post. I have a wife, son, two dogs ( 4yo German Shepherd and 2 yo black lab) and my Jeep. I love shooting all of these and want to learn advanced techniques so I can print and hang more around the house. Also love landscape shots especially here in Colorado... anyway, just saying hi. If anyone has any recommendations for threads let me know...
